Attractive employment conditions

Incentives / Zurich stocks
In addition to their regular salary, our employees receive an incentive paid out when the company makes a profit. This bonus depends on the company’s profit and the employee’s function and personal performance. Employees can invest a part of their incentive in stocks at preferential conditions.

Premium discounts and subsidies
Full-time employees receive a 25% discount on non-life insurance from Zurich and several thousand francs in premium subsidies on life insurance. They also enjoy attractive employee discounts on mortgages. And thanks to our group contract with CSS, employees also benefit from reduced-price health insurance.

Commissions
Zurich back-office employees receive attractive brokerage commissions for insurance concluded with third parties and for recommending job applicants.

Extended leave
After 5 years of employment with Zurich, you are entitled to take an extended period of unpaid leave of between 2 and 6 months. During your absence, Zurich will continue to pay your social insurance contributions as normal.

Family/child allowances
Those of our employees who become mothers get 20 weeks of paid leave at full salary to take care of their newborn. New fathers get 5 days' leave when their wife or partner gives birth to a child. Employees with a degree of employment of 50% or more receive the full children’s allowance. We also present employees with a one-time gift of CHF 500 when they get married or have a child.

Children’s day care center
We offer our employees subsidized day care.

Sports and cultural events
Enjoy discounted tickets to cultural events, health clubs and fitness centers in the Zurich area. To complete the package, we offer massages and sports/cultural events at lunch at certain Zurich locations in addition to a few other benefits.

Other discounts
You receive up to CHF 1,000 in REKA checks every year at a 20% discount. We also offer discounts for the Zurich transportation network and on the SBB rail travelcard, on credit cards and cell phones.
