Conditions of Entry for the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Zurich Competition

The organizer of the competition is Zurich Insurance Company Ltd ("Zurich"). It is giving all participants the chance to win 10x 2 travel arrangements to the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Slovakia for the Switzerland vs. Sweden game on May 18, 2019 worth a total of approx. CHF 1,500. The arrangement includes the outbound flight on May 18, 2019 and the return flight on May 19, 2019 (both flights in economy class), transfer, overnight stay in a mid-range hotel and tickets for the Switzerland vs. Sweden game. All natural persons residing in Switzerland can participate in the competition who have reached the age of 18 and are capable of acting. Employees of the Zurich Insurance Group and its subsidiaries, as well as Zurich's general agencies are excluded. Participation is free of charge. The closing date for entries is April 24, 2019. Zurich will notify the winners by April 26, 2019 in writing or by telephone.

There is no legal basis for the collection of prizes, and no cash payments will take place. Zurich reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the participants' data when awarding the prizes. Zurich cannot be held responsible for failure to award the prizes for reasons beyond its control (incomplete or incorrect address details of winners, the quality of third-party services, or their cancellation, e.g. cancellation of the game, cancellation of the flight, etc.). Under no circumstances will replacement services or compensation be provided. The risk of the non-cash prize is transferred to the winner upon sending to the address provided by the winner. The winner is responsible for any necessary taxation of the prize. An extension of the validity is not possible. Zurich is entitled to exclude individual participants from the competition for justified reasons, e.g. violation of the conditions of entry or manipulation of the competition. Participants automatically registered by robots or other technical aids will also be excluded from the competition. Zurich reserves the right to change the conditions of entry at any time. Zurich also reserves the right to cancel or suspend the competition at any time. This applies in particular if there are reasons that would disrupt or prevent the planned course of the competition.

If the winner does not respond within 4 days of the first contact attempt by e-mail and telephone, Zurich reserves the right to pass on the prize. As a rule, prizes are not transferable to other persons. By way of exception, a prize may be given to a third party subject to the prior consent of Zurich if a winner is unable to embark on the trip in person. The planned transfer of the prize must be communicated to Zurich by the winner at least two weeks prior to departure. Prize transfers may only take place if there is no exchange of consideration. Resale of the prize in exchange for payment is thus prohibited; any attempts to sell the prize will lead to the (subsequent) disqualification of the winner and the revocation or reclamation of the prize.
