David vs. Goliath

The Swiss Ice Hockey Cup will enable a line-up of games, the like of which has not been seen for many years. With its commitment as Presenting Partner of the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup, Zurich wishes to bring together ice hockey fans from all parts of Switzerland and give them a unique hockey experience. With regional derbies and top national games, the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup delivers real ice hockey excitement. Zurich is proud to have supported and assisted with the relaunch of the cup from the very beginning.

On the sidelines for Ice Icons

Nine Swiss national teams fight for the reputation of Swiss ice hockey every year. Zurich is proud to support the teams as their official sponsor – from the U14 juniors to the top men's team and reigning runners-up in the World Championships.

For 10'000 starting whistles

Without ice hockey referees, the 10'000+ games a year could never take place. Zurich appreciates their dedication and serves as sponsor to the 1'000 official referees in all games in National Leagues A and B, in the Regio League and the Swiss national team's home games.

Celebrating Tradition: Spengler Cup

The Spengler Cup is the oldest international ice hockey tournament and the second-largest sporting event in Switzerland, after the Swiss Indoors in Basel. Teams from around the world compete during the five days between Christmas and New Year for this coveted trophy steeped in tradition. Davos plays host, and more than 80'000 fans travel there each year to join in the excitement. Zurich supports this history-rich event as a partner.

Everybody started out small

On Swiss Ice Hockey Day, to be held on the last Sunday in October, the focus will be on the little ones: On almost 100 ice rinks throughout Switzerland, children will have the opportunity to try their luck with stick and puck, to sharpen up their skills and to learn a few clever tricks from professional players. Zurich is the main partner of the Swiss Ice Hockey Day. Entry is free and there is no need to register.
