Save for big dreams and protect yourself against financial risks.

If you invest the price of a coffee in your third pillar every day from the age of 30, you will have saved around CHF 100,000 at retirement thanks to compound interest.
If you are no longer able to work, for example due to illness, there will be a large gap in your household budget. For as little as CHF 5 per day, you can insure yourself and your family to guarantee the standard of living that you are accustomed to.
Take your pension into your own hands now. It's worth it! If you invest CHF 500 in our top investments every month for 35 years, you will have a million in your account once you reach retirement age, thanks to the compound interest effect.

If you work in a 60% part-time job from the age of 35*, you will have CHF 156,000 missing from your pension fund when you retire. You can make up for this with as little as CHF 10 per day.

Frequently asked questions

What can I learn about my own retirement provision?

We will explain to you in detail and in an understandable way how much money you can expect from OASI and your pension funds. We will show you precisely what situations will create a need for additional funds and how you can cover these gaps.

How does a consultation work?

Contact your personal advisor in your area. You decide whether the consultation should take place via email, phone or during a personal meeting. Together you and your advisor will analyze your personal situation and your wishes and needs. You will then receive non-binding proposals for possible solutions. You decide how to proceed – and also how much Zurich should support you.

What documents do I need for the consultation?

You do not need any special  preparation for the first non-binding discussion. It is only when we jointly examine your situation and your needs that we will need to see any documents. This includes, for example, your OASI account statement, pension fund statement or 3a accounts. Your advisor will explain which documents are required.

Current studies confirm: knowledge is worth more than gold

Women and retirement provision - more knowledge for equal opportunities

  • Almost 80% of women grade their financial knowledge as mediocre to very poor.
  • 48% of men, but only 32% of women invest their personal savings with a yield orientation.
  • 61% of the full-time employed pay into pillar 3a - among the part-time employed this is only 48% although this would be especially worthwhile for them.

Fairplay 2023

  • 76% of their current income after retirement, that’s what the Swiss population requires – but from the 1st and 2nd pillars, they only receive 60%.
  • 73% are concerned because inflation is increasing the cost of living, but only 29% are concerned about loss of purchasing power in occupational retirement provision.
  • 87% of those surveyed would welcome retirement provision and financial issues being taught in schools.
