    Our roadside assistance is valid for all of the insured persons’ motor vehicles (up to 3,500 kg total weight) in Europe. It is also valid for vehicles that do not belong to you, but that you are driving (as long as these are registered in CH/FL).

    Our roadside assistance is valid for all of the insured persons’ motor vehicles (up to 3,500 kg total weight) in Europe. It is also valid for vehicles that do not belong to you, but that you are driving (as long as these are registered in CH/FL).

    Stay mobile – with roadside assistance

    We pay up to a maximum CHF 5,000 of the costs where the vehicle can no longer be used (e.g. for a replacement vehicle of equal value, accommodation required, onward or return travel with public transport or taxi, and the costs of vehicle transfers in Switzerland).

    Zurich is there for you when you need us – in Switzerland and abroad. Roadside assistance is a module in the Zurich Relax Assistance and is available separately for just CHF 114 a year. In the event of a breakdown (incl. defective key, fuel and battery breakdowns) and accidental damage (incl. collision, damage caused by natural hazards, theft) we deliver the following benefits:


    • Organization and costs of local roadside assistance, including replacing small parts
    • Recovery costs up to CHF 2,000 are insured
    • Costs of towing your vehicle to the nearest garage able to carry out the repairs
    • A replacement car while yours is being repaired, plus the costs of accommodation, onward or return travel combined up to a total of CHF 5,000
    • Zurich pays the additional costs for new tickets for car ferries and trains up to CHF 1,000 if you miss your connec­tion because of a breakdown

    Benefits outside Switzerland/Liechtenstein:

    • Zurich pays the costs of delivering replacement parts
    • Transport for your vehicle back to your place of residence
    • Customs duties and scrapping if the vehicle is a total loss
