Each year, the 12-month internship starts in September. First, you will have the opportunity to get to know our business, the insurance industry and other high school graduates.
During our 12-month internship, you will familiarize yourself with two of our business areas and receive guidance and instruction through internal training. You choose in which two departments you want to do a six-month internship each.
Dive into the exciting world of insurance with our 18-month internship program. During three exciting placements in different business areas, you will develop a solid understanding of the insurance industry. Your practical experience is supplemented by in-depth classroom-based training at the Vocational Training Association of the Insurance Industry (VBV). The qualification as a Young Insurance Professional is currently being revised. Further details will be announced in the first quarter of 2026.

Following your internship, we offer you the prospect of a permanent position with us and to study while working.
You benefit from subsidized public transport throughout Switzerland. If you are under 25, you even get the SBB season ticket from us for free.
Our High School Graduates@Zurich internship program lasts 12 months and offers you a comprehensive insight into Zurich Switzerland. Lay the foundation for your career.
Each year, the 12-month internship starts in September. First, you will have the opportunity to get to know our business, the insurance industry and other high school graduates.
During onboarding, we will show you what opportunities you have, and you can choose a team for your first assignment. You will be given your own tasks, which you will take responsibility for – your team will provide you with the necessary support. After six months you will move to another department of your choice and get to know a different business area.
Our internships combine theory and practice so that you receive an authentic insight and can develop in the best possible way. You will take part in exciting training and attend various compulsory and optional courses on the topics "World of Insurance," "Customer Experience," "Future of Work" and "Lead Yourself."

The qualification as a Young Insurance Professional is currently being revised. Further details will be announced in the first quarter of 2026.
Upon completion of the YIP program, you will be awarded the certificate "Young Insurance Professional VBV." The abbreviation VBV stands for a qualification certified and supported by the Vocational Training Association, which is recognized by the major insurance companies. This will allow you access without an examination to further follow-up training courses in the field of insurance.

Visit our Job Portal to discover our openings for high school graduates and the qualifications required. With just a few clicks, you can apply online and upload your current resume and your high school certificate.
The application phase starts at the beginning of March each year.
We will assess how well your profile matches the role requirements. Within 2–3 weeks, you will receive a response from us on whether we will invite you for an interview. If it takes longer, we will let you know.
If you pique our interest, you will receive an invitation to an on-site recruitment day. During this day, you will complete individual and group tasks. In addition, you will have the opportunity to interact with other high school graduates.
If both sides are interested, there will be a virtual individual interview. During this interview, we will ask you questions about the recruitment day in order to get to know you better.
We will communicate our decision to you by telephone. If successful, you will receive a binding confirmation.
If you accept, we can look forward to welcoming you onto the program as a high school graduate on September 1 of your application year.
A personalized onboarding program will support you in the run-up to your first day at work.
