Zurich Switzerland appoints Christine Theodorovics as Head of Life

Christine Theodorovics (47) has been named new Head of Life at Zurich Switzerland, effective April 1, 2016. Born in Vienna and holding a Swiss passport, Theodorovics will be a member of the Executive Board of Zurich Switzerland, reporting to CEO Joachim Masur.
Christine Theodorovics has been CEO of Global Life Austria and a member of the Executive Board of Zurich Austria since March 2013. Prior to this role, she was Head of Business Development for Independent Financial Advisors and Brokers in the Corporate Center of Global Life Zurich. Theodorovics has an MBA from Vienna University of Economics and Business, a Master of Arts in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges/Belgium, as well as a degree in Banking from the Swiss Finance Institute in Zurich. Next to her role as Head of Life, Christine Theodorovics has been appointed CEO of Zurich Lebensversicherungs-Gesellschaft AG (ZLIC).

She is succeeding Claudio Gienal, who was named Head of Group Strategy, also effective April 1, 2016.
