The Spengler Cup is the oldest international ice hockey tournament and the second-largest sporting event in Switzerland, after the Swiss Indoors in Basel. Since 2014, Zurich has been bringing opera to a wider audience with its "Opera for All" program, inviting members of the public to watch performances by the Zurich Opera House for free at open-air events at the Sechseläutenplatz.
